BEFORE
Here is a look at my old living room arrangement
and minimal decor right before I changed it.
And minimal but not by choice,
I just haven't had the funds or energy to really do something different.

Plus, its hard to work with Burgundy.

T.L. View from the front door.
We had 2 side tables next to each other where my purse & red vase are.

Biggest challenge- working with the rectangular room.
AFTER
What it looked like after the rearranging and complete Christmas set-up.
(I'm about to work on putting it all away)
View from door.
TV moved from corner and put under mirror.
Furniture rearranged
Wall is now where a "wrap around" type of seating is set up with love-seat and chairs.
Side tables where split up, one is behind the sofa.
Side tables where split up, one is behind the sofa.
THIS really opened up the area and made a huge difference.
We love it!
Large sofa moved to picture wall.
Use to be on this side, closest to front door.
The other side table is next to tree.

Our Christmas tree!
I used the extra drawers from our TV "console"
under our tree as gift holders.
Our TV "console" got a quick make-over.
We removed the top drawers, drilled holes in the back and put all of our
electronics there.
I also removed all my files from the 2 bottom drawers, used them for
our DVD collections and donated the previous tower.
The files, were temporarily boxed and stored in the coat closet.
Specific craft/decor info to come.
