Ok so my kids started up a few weeks ago, technically the 9th.
I've been consumed with consistant bed times (mine has been really poor), school schedule and minor homework they've been getting so far.
BUT tonight IS their BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT!

Here's a shot of their 1st day.

My daughter (N.B.) is in 1st grade, 6.5yrs and has NOT lost any teeth yet.
She REALLY wants to lose some teeth. lol
 My son (M.L.) is in 4th, turned 9 in June and is growing a new tooth
Our babies are getting so big :)


Ok, before you tune me out because I've started with my kids in this post,

I do have a redo I worked on and wore last Sunday.

REDO

SKIRT: Previous church sale purchase
/dress leftovers .25!

I used the top portion for a different REDO HERE

and saved the bottom part.

   LEFTOVERS:
Front/Back
The skirt portion was too small for me.



TL: I removed the elastic and pulled a longer piece from my stash.

TR: Longer elastic pinned to pleats.

 BL: Elastic sewed to sides of front panel 1st.

BR: Elastic sewn to jean skirt.

 I forgot to take pics but I also tapered the sides of the skirt, taking in a bit more by the knees.

AFTER:

Worn with a green shirt (thrifted 1.00), shirt necklace (made by me HERE),

wood necklace  (thrifted 1.00), sandals (old,thrifted)

SIDE

The pleats puffed up awkwardly, creating a "fuller" look so I sewed them down about 3inches. It slimmed the silhouette, ok me lol
